And you thought algebra was useless…
The new FREE search tool for flight-specific baggage information, www.luggagelimits.com developed by a high school algebra teacher, Luke Dudley, goes further than any other website in finding flight luggage information. The website allows the user to enter an airline, along with the departure and arrival airports then uses that information to find the exact luggage policy on their selected flight. Not stopping at simple checked baggage information, this site also provides the same flight specific information on flights’ carry-on baggage, excess baggage sizes & costs. It also allows the user to browse through all the different ticket class baggage policies including airline club benefits, on the specified flight.
“Interpreting airline luggage policies from their websites can be daunting,” said website founder Luke Dudley, who, as a boarding school Algebra teacher, took notice of this problem through students during the summer of 2008. “Seeing the students travel to and from school on a regular basis with numerous items of baggage, and at a time when jet fuel and airline hidden fees were rapidly increasing, gave me the idea for an online resource that can help travelers avoid, or at least prepare for, these extra costs.”

The Sedona Arts Festival is recognized as one of the best festivals of its size in the nation and this year’s event will be no exception. The artists have been carefully chosen by an experienced jury to represent a wide variety of mediums and styles of the highest quality including excellence in ceramics, fiber art, jewelry, mixed media, photography, painting, sculpture and wood. Many new artists will be represented alongside the best and brightest from our own community. “It’s important to us that we support our local artists as well as bringing fresh talent from outside the area to inspire and delight the nearly 5000 visitors we attract each year. I’m very excited about the roster of visual artists we’re showcasing,” explained Executive Director of the not-for-profit Festival, Gayle Taylor. “In addition to keeping the Festival fresh and filled with breathtaking art, there will be something for every taste and budget.”

I just encountered some information even I did not know—when US citizens return home from overseas, TSA is entitled to seize our laptops and KEEP THEM FOR MONTHS if we present suspicious aspects. Please see:

If you think this is not something to worry about, may I remind you that TSA recently detained a former president of India?
