Sabrina Ward Harrison to lead Angela Ritchie’s ACE Camp on The Art of Becoming Yourself, October 24- November 2 2009, Todos Santos, Baja, Mexico

Become fascinated by your own life. Create an ode to living. That is the invitation on offer at Angela Ritchie’s ACE Camp, which launches this fall with a 10 day retreat in the artist community of Todos Santos, with journal-artist Sabrina Ward Harrison.

Limited to ten participants, the camp will take place at  El Pescadero Beach House on the Mexican Baja from October 24 to November 2 2009.

By the surf breaks of the Pacific Ocean, adventurers will be led by journal-artist Sabrina Ward Harrison in the making of a personal journal. Road-trips, great meals and collaborative art projects will fill the days, with the adventure culminating in the celebration of El Dia De Los Muertos, the Mexican festival recognising the Day of the Dead.

34 year old Ward Harrison is the creator of Spilling Open – The Art of Becoming Yourself, Brave on the Rocks – If You Don’t Go You Don’t See, Messy Thrilling Life – the Art of Figuring Out How to Live, and The True and the Questions – A Journal.

Her True Living Project (www.sabrinawardharrison.com) is an effort to combine photography, sound, collage, film and found objects to “report on the electrifying experience of being.”

Sabrina Ward Harrison’s confessional journal pages and multimedia projects are visual treasure-troves. She has taught workshops for over fifteen years, using journaling and collage to inspire people towards True Living, according to a belief that “we must create what we most need to find.”

Her whimsical, colourful art style and authentic approach to life and creativity has encouraged people all over the world to spill forth from a place of honest expression, to match heart with art.

Participants of all ages are welcome. The US$1450 workshop fee includes roundtrip ground transportation, accommodation, meals, yoga sessions, art supplies and creative workshops with Sabrina Ward Harrison.

A free-form itinerary offers participants plenty of time to meditate, explore, enjoy the beach, or yoga classes, massages and art gallery tours in Todos Santos.

Registration closes October 3 2009.
