Janine Franceschi, owner of PAW; Pet-friendly Accommodations Worldwide, and her Irish setter, Beau, have logged over 5000 miles, (and counting) touring the country to promote the booking site of the only collection of luxury, pet-friendly hotels on the Web today, and they want to make sure YOU hear about PAW.

The dynamic duo travel the American highways and byways in their red “PAW”-print-adorned Honda Element, on loan from the Honda Corporation, on a mission to reshape the notion of pet-friendly travel, one hotel and one pet owner at a time. Their message? It is no longer necessary to sacrifice the level of amenity and comfort you want when you travel simply because you choose to travel with your pet. Finding and booking gorgeous pet-friendly hotels just got a whole lot easier!

Throughout the tour, Franceschi is staying as a guest at premiere 4-star-and-higher-rated hotels, experiencing their pet-friendliness and pet programs in order to provide insight to travelers on their just-for-pets luxury amenities. From Westin’s Heavenly Pet Bed to Keswick Hall’s (one of only six Orient-Express properties in the U.S.) fresh-baked, chicken-flavored doggie biscuits, Franceschi and Beau source and share the best hotels in the country catering to the needs and wants of pets of all sizes and their people. In addition, Franceschi highlights the best luxury, pet-friendly activities, shops, restaurants, and resources available in each city she and Beau visit on the ‘Canine Concierge’ pages of the site. I often hear, ‘What a great idea. I didn’t know you could bring your pet to this hotel, we had to send our dog to a kennel to come on this trip.” She continues, “My hope was to create a site to bridge that gap, to get the information out to affluent pet-owning travelers. For years now, low to moderate level of amenity hotels have been pet-friendly and travelers simply do not know that luxury travel with their pet is also an option, they think they have to choose between nice accommodations and their pet, and Beau and I are here to tell them that they don’t have to make that choice anymore!”
