FARE FACTS: Fares are each way based on required roundtrip purchase for United Economy(R) travel on United Airlines(R), Ted(SM), Lufthansa, and United Express(R) carriers. Tickets purchased through United reservation offices are $15 per ticket higher and tickets purchased at airport ticket counters are $20 per ticket higher. Fares purchased through other distribution channels may also be higher. When purchasing from United, always go to united.com to find United’s lowest fares. Seats are limited and may not be available on all flights/dates. Purchase Requirements: Tickets for U.S. destinations must be purchased at least 14 days in advance, but no later than 3/17/08. Tickets for Canada destinations must be purchased at least 7 days in advance, but no later than 3/17/08. Tickets for Atlantic destinations must be purchased at least 7 days in advance, but no later than 3/17/08. Tickets for Latin destinations must be purchased at least 3 days in advance, but no later than 3/18/08. U.S. and Canada tickets are non-refundable. No changes may be made after ticketed departure date for any portion of the ticket. Tickets whose reservations are cancelled prior to the ticketed departure date are valid for travel one year from the original issuance date for a service charge ($100 for U.S./Canada/Hawaii/Mexico/Caribbean, $150 for Pacific, $200 for Atlantic). Changes made on or before departure are subject to fare rules and a service charge ($100 for U.S./Canada/Hawaii/Mexico/Caribbean, $150 for Pacific, $200 for Atlantic). If a reservation is not cancelled before the ticketed departure date, the ticket has no value. Exceptions for Hawaii: For travel to Honolulu, travel is valid beginning 3/31/08, with all travel complete by 6/5/08. For travel to Maui, Kona, or Lihue, travel is valid beginning 5/1/08, with all travel complete by 6/5/08. Travel is valid all days of the week. Fares require a 3 night or Saturday night minimum stay. Exceptions for Canada: No minimum stay requirement. Exceptions for London: Travel is valid on Mon-Wed. Travel on other days of the week is slightly higher.
