Hertz is offering two discount specials for U.S. and Canadian residents traveling to Europe.

From now until June 30, 2007, customers can save up to 15 percent off non-prepaid Hertz Affordable Europe® rates. The offer is valid for any car class at participating locations throughout Europe. To take advantage of this offer, customers must mention Rate Code WEG at the time of reservation or enter the Rate Code in the appropriate field during the online reservation process.

Travelers to Germany can save up to 50 Euros on select German cars. This offer provides 30 Euros off the rental rates for cars such as the VW Golf, Audi A4, or Mercedes C Class or 50 Euros off the rental rates for Mercedes E, S and M classes, Mercedes SLK convertible and BMW 3 series convertible. The offer is valid on qualifying Hertz Affordable Europe rentals of five or more days at participating corporate airport locations in Germany from now until September 30, 2007.

To take advantage of this offer, customers must mention Promotion Code 101474 at the time of reservation or enter the Promotion Code in the appropriate field during the online reservation process. For both phone and online reservations, customers must also present the offer page found in the “To Europe, Middle East, Africa” tab of the “Special Offers” section of hertz.com, at time of rental pick up.

For both offers, standard Hertz Affordable Europe Program rules, rental qualifications, rental periods and return restrictions in effect at time and place of rental apply. Reservations must be made at least 8 hours in advance from the U.S. or Canada. These offers cannot be combined with each other nor with any other offers, discounts, coupons or promotions, and these offers cannot be applied to completed rentals.
