Fly Away with Fares as Low as $29*

 

AirTran Airways, a subsidiary of AirTran Holdings, Inc., today launched a sale for travel from Atlanta to select destinations with fares starting as low as $29*. Travelers may purchase these sale fares at http://www.airtran.com/ or via AirTran Airways’ reservations system at 1-800-AIR-TRAN. For Spanish, call 1-877-581-9842.


These special fares are available for purchase on November 24, 2008, and are good for travel from December 3, 2008 through December 17, 2008 as well as January 6, 2009 through February 11, 2009. Fares are valid for travel on nonstop flights departing Atlanta on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Like all AirTran Airways fares, prices included in this sale are available for one-way travel and do not require a roundtrip purchase or an overnight stay.

*All fares are one-way. All fares are non-refundable and a $75 fee per person applies to any change made after purchase, plus any applicable increase in airfare. Any person traveling on or after December 5, 2008, will be charged a fee of up to $15 for the first checked bag. A second bag may be checked for a fee of up to $25 per person. Reservations may be obtained or changed through an AirTran Airways Telephone Reservations Center for an additional $15 per person. Sale fares are valid for travel on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. Tickets must be purchased on November 24, 2008. Sale fares are valid for travel December 3 through December 17, 2008, and January 6 through February 11, 2009. Travel is valid from Atlanta only, on flights that depart before 9:30am and on nonstop routes only. Blackout dates are as follows: December 18, 2008 through January 5, 2009. Fares, routes, and schedules are subject to change without notice. Fares do not include per-segment tax of $3.50. A segment is defined as one takeoff and one landing. The September 11th security fee of up to $10 is not included. Airport Passenger Facility Charges of up to $18 are not included.
