A Fulbright teaching exchange to Scotland in the early nineties ignited a passionate and insatiable curiosity about the world, meeting new people, and experiencing the unknown.
It was a life-changing adventure that led her, six years later, at the age of 35, with no qualifications other than a traveler’s eye and a knack for telling a tale, to trade teaching and mathematics for writing and photography.
